This page collects rendered SAM diagnostics now owned by the JM_sam repository. The active report should be updated here; the retained JM_SCW_prep/sam render is a frozen migration artifact from an earlier commit.
The active SAM workflow was updated in May 2026 to restore the full exploratory 01_run_assessment.R script, preserve the reduced-data configuration as 01_run_assessment_dropData.R, and treat survey inputs according to their data type: number-at-age indices remain age structured, while CPUE and other integrated signals are fitted as biomass indices. The retrospective and leave-one-out helper workflow uses the build_ctrl_alt() control configuration to avoid the unstable extra catch-F variance parameterization.
